Dee Benton

Founder, Director, and CEO

Truly the heart of The Dare to Love Project, Dee continues to lead the way on local and global outreach efforts. Host of guests at Beulah Land, social media manager, event planner, training the therapy dogs, and so much more, Dee spends just about every moment daring to love in one way or another. Dare to Love Stamps on Dee’s passport include Haiti, Cambodia, Romania, Nicaragua, and more! She also led the way on the Dare to Love outreach trip to the Southern Section of the United States. When you meet Dee, you should ask her about her tattoos and what each mean to her; each are beautiful and poetic!

Faith Benton

Officer

Graduate of both the Living Water Anthem program and Harvest School of Missions in Mozambique, Faith has served people in need locally and globally. Dare to Love Stamps on Faith’s passport include Haiti, Cambodia, Mexico, Romania, Nicaragua, and more! She also went on the outreach trip to the Southern Section of the United States. Faith is a host for the airbnb, she creates global connections, trains the therapy dogs, and performs other communications and marketing duties. Her favorite quote comes from Mamma Mia 2: “Life is short, the world is wide — I wanna make some memories.”

Rachel Benton

Officer

Finding creative collaborations in the local community, editing documentaries and videos, and assisting with donation procurement, web and flyer design, Rachel enjoys finding new and fun ideas to bring to the table. Rachel has been on outreach trips to Cambodia and the Southern Section of the United States with The Dare to Love Project. Rachel is a Pacific Lutheran University graduate with a double major in History and Political Science with a minor in Music. Outside of DTL, Rachel writes a column called “In the Audience” for The JOLT News and freelancing for OLY ARTS. You can find all of her writings here.

Therapy Dogs

Snuggly, sweet, handsome, lovers of fetch and “snappys” (snap peas), our beloved therapy dogs dare to love people in their own way. Elliot loves to hold your hand and look fondly into your eyes. Ernie is full of kisses. Together, these brothers brighten everyone’s day.
